Tips
The 613 commandments are divided into 248 positive and 365 negative commandments.

Positive Commandments tell us WHAT to do.

Negative Commandments tell us what NOT to do.

Introduction for the 613

The following lists of 613 mitzvot (commandments) are contained within the Torah. The first five books of the Bible. They are foundational to our faith and are a foundation to our understanding of the rest of the Bible. TO IGNORE them is to take the Bible out of context and thus open for strange interpretations and doctrines.

Without Torah we will have no understanding of who Yehoshua was and is. To ignore Torah is to give up a true understanding of the Messiah. This misunderstanding will lead to false Messiahs (Anti-Christs) which are with us this very day.

It should be noted that many Mitzvot cannot be followed since about a third of the Mitzvot apply to the Temple and its services. However this does not excuse the adherence of those that can be followed. It should also be noted that the Temple mitzvot have spiritual understand thus still serve a purpose till the Temple is rebuilt.

I want to make it clear that these commandments are an expression of our love and faith for G-d.  NOT A SYSTEM OF MERITS.
